Programme Aims
The Enterprise Evolution Programme is a unique programme which is designed to bridge the gap between education and entrepreneurship. The Programme is a new departure for enterprise creation and development in Ireland that is jointly delivered by IT Tallaght Dublin, Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and Innovo Training and Development .
The Programme will offer 100 unemployed graduates and out-of-work professionals the opportunity to create, explore and develop their own enterprise ideas and themselves in an innovative, creative environment.
Operating in dual locations (60 students in IT Tallaght and 40 in IADT), participants will work in high performance teams to broaden their knowledge of emerging industries, deepen their enterprise skills, and develop their critical thinking, creativity and problem solving skills.
When Does The Course Begin?
The programme begins in September 2011 and is one academic year long, concluding in May 2012. On successful completion of The Enterprise Evolution Programme participants will be awarded a Special Purpose Diploma in Enterprise Innovation, from IT Tallaght. The programme will take participants out of their educational specialism’s and broaden their skills base, in line with the objectives of national policy, particularly the ‘National Skills Strategy’, ‘Delivering the Smart Economy’ strategy and the continual fostering of an entrepreneurial culture in Ireland.
